Location of the barracks for the guards

Site of the guard barracks near the mass killing area. The area was guarded by dozens of SS and SD soldiers and special police units. On the posts holding the barbwire that surrounded the area of the base, there were warning signs with the German inscription ‘Minen. Lebens-Gefahr’ (Mines. Risk of death). According to eye-witnesses, the territory of the Base was fenced by triple barbwire. It was guarded both inside and outside. There were several gates inside the area.
