Pit-trench
According to Abraham Bliazer, the bodies of 8,000 young men were excavated from the pit-trench. Most of them were blindfolded using towels or shirt. Konstantin Potanin mentioned that about 3,500 Jewish men were excavated from this pit and incinerated. It is assumed that these were the people arrested in flats. There was an area next to the pit that contained 3 fires. A total of 11,500 bodies are believed to have been incinerated in these fires.
