Mass killing pit

The site was discovered during the geophysical (non-invasive) surveys conducted by the Vilna Gaon State Jewish Museum and the Lithuanian Institute of History in 2015–2019. There is evidence that in the spring of 1944, in the pit or near the pit, dozens of Roma could have been shot to death.
